In this video I use mung beans for sprouting. These sprouts are really delicious – juicy and a bit crispy. I love them! They are just the ideal sprouts for your salad. Another beautiful thing with mung beans is that it is almost impossible to get it wrong. It is dead easy. Have a look.
If you don’t want to use mung beans, another thing that is easy to sprout is the alfalfa seed. Alfalfa sprouts are just as delicious and nutritious, but not as crunchy as the mung bean sprouts.
The sprouting kit I use in this video is Biosnacky Large Germinator. I bought mine online and it costs about £15.
I advice you to take action and invest in a sprouting kit for yourself or your family. It is the easiest way to make sprouts, and it is a lot cheaper than buying them at the supermarket. The sprouts you buy only last for about two days at home – if you are lucky! A sprouting kit really is a good investment in your health!
Happy Sprouting my friends!
